Primetime Sports Network was founded by Scott Tyree, also known as Buckethead, with the vision of highlighting high school players for their achievements.
Scott Tyree, emerged as a standout three-sport athlete from Munford High School in Alabama. Throughout his high school career, he showcased his talents in football, basketball, and baseball, garnering recognition with multiple All-Area and All-County awards in each sport. His exceptional skills culminated in him being awarded the prestigious Munford Heisman trophy during his senior year. After accepting a football scholarship to the University of Southern Mississippi, fate dealt Scott a cruel blow with a career-ending knee injury. Undeterred, he embarked on a grueling journey of recovery and redemption, ultimately finding a new path at Jacksonville State University. Despite battling persistent injuries, Scott transitioned from player to coach, sharing his knowledge and passion for the game with the next generation. His coaching career led him to Lincoln High School and Oxford High School, where he mentored athletes in baseball, football, and wrestling. When his son Chandler followed in his footsteps to become a coach, Scott returned to the sidelines. This time, he lent his expertise to the football programs at Munford High School and White Plains High School. Currently residing in Munford, Alabama, with his wife Sonja Tyree, Scott Tyree's legacy transcends his playing days, embodying resilience, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to the sports he loves. Scott aims to give back to the community and is highly regarded among his peers.
